QUALIFIER ACTION DOMINATES HURLING SCHEDULE

With the pairings completed for the Leinster and Munster finals, (Dublin v Kilkenny

and Tipperary v Waterford) the pace quickens in the qualifiers as the GAA Hurling

All-Ireland Senior Championship heads towards the last weekend in June.

It's Cork v Offaly and Antrim v Carlow in Phase I of the qualifiers next Saturday

2nd. July

While the pairings for Phase 2 (to be played on Saturday week) are as follows:

 Galway v Clare

. Limerick v Wexford

 

Galway and Clare last met in the championship in 2003 when Galway won a qualifier

tie by 1-15 to 2-11 in Ennis while the last Limerick v Wexford clash was in 2009 when

Limerick won a qualifier by 1-13 to 0-14 in Wexford Park.

The Galway/Clare and Limerick/Wexford winners will play the winners of

Cork/Offaly and Antrim/Carlow on July 9.

Before that, the focus will be on Páirc Uí Chaoimh and Casement Park next Saturday

for the Phase I games.
