Allianz Football League Roinn 4
Clare 5-10 London 0-4
Despite playing against a stiff breeze in the opening half, Clare were quick out of the blocks and had 1-2 on the board before London scored. Alan Clohessy fisted Clare's opening goal in the sixth minute, but three pointed frees by Eoin O'Neill brought the exiles back into contention.
However, Gary Brennan punched to the net to move Clare further clear and David Tubridy added a point to leave the half time score 2-3 to 0-3.The second half belonged to Tubridy as he scored two goals as well as kicking some fine points. Indeed the talented forward notched 2-2 without reply and finished the match with an impressive 2-7 for the afternoon.
Clohessy scored his second goal of the game late on as Clare ran riot during the second half with London having no answer for their strong running on and off the ball.
London's only score of the second half came deep in injury time when O'Neill pointed with virtually the last kick of the game.
